It has been a blessing for so many, including myself, to listen to John playing and singing on the porch at fiddle camp. Those are the memories that many of the fiddle campers carry. I also remember a time 3 or 4 years ago when I was talking to John at fiddle camp, and he wanted to hear ME play. I couldn't believe he wanted to hear me play. So I did. And then I played on his fiddle, and he played on mine. That will always be a special memory for me. Rest in peace John. My thoughts are with your family and many, many friends.
