Whoever thought-up this tribute to John deserves a great big hug. What a wonderful place for us to come together and share our grief and our joy for a good and great man. John touched everyone who came in contact with him, whether or not they knew him personally. He liked to say that he "achieved success on a small scale". Anyone who ever went to a John Hartford concert could feel this. There may not have been tens of thousands of fans at any of his concerts, but looking over the hundreds or even a few thousand devoted followers, everyone there seemed to feel that they were personally connected to him and he to them. This website has the same feeling, to me as a John Hartford fan, that I felt at the "Wall" in Washington. Thanks whoever you are for providing this place to meet.
