John, because of watching you on the Glen Campbell Summer Show I got the bug to learn banjo. You'd sit on the floor crosslegged and play and sing. I thought it was so cool. I sitt prefer to play banjo sitting on the floor like that. Because of your inspiration my life is much different that it would have been. I became a professional musician, playing, traveling and generally having a great time. If I hadn't I probably would not have met my wife and have the great kids I do today. Though I saw you infrequently you were a good friend. I loved spending the night at your house overlooking the Cumberland. I treasure the poster you signed for me with an endorsement of my banjo pickup that you used. If not for you I probably would have never been in a jam with Earl. There's more but for now I'll just say thank you again.
