I had suggested to Planet Bluegrass about a month ago that they dedicate the festival to him and have Sam Bush lead a tribute to John. From early reports I think that a very large number of John's songs will be played in addition to the 30 minute set. Bands like Leftover Salmon, Yonder Mountain String Band, Nickel Creek, John Cowan, Béla Fleck, and Sam Bush among others should play many of John's best. Not sure if I will be laughing or crying, but as my buddy Dancin Dave likes to say it should be goose bump music. Hopefully just the first of many such tributes.
