I was pleased to meet and hear John in concert a few years ago at his concert at Front Porch Music in Valparaiso, Indiana. I began listening to his music while in Law School in Tulsa, Oklahoma. My favorite song was the song which went---"Every day I work on the Illinois River get a half day off with pay---Oh tow boat breaking up barges on a long hot summer day." At the concert I presented John with a letter informing him that this song was shared and loved by all of my law school buddies while cruising Tulsa. When I asked him, can you believe that, he simply said, "Nope"--but he sang the song that night and tipped his hat to me afterwards--a neat memory. Does anyone know how I can find this song--Is it the Illinois River Rag and what CD is it on? I've been searching record stores for 15 years for this song and have had no luck. It has special meaning for me. Anyone have any ideas out there. Thanks Ned
