We live on the northwest side of Michigan, not far
from Lake Michigan. It is beautiful here (and
quite cold right now!!). John's aunt and uncle
had a cottage on Crystal Lake about 30 miles
north of here. A few times while he was on tour
he visited the cottage between gigs (and borrowed
our car). Marie loved to collect rocks and stones
from the beach so the car would have lots of
beach sand in it when they brought it back! We
were happy to help them out and had some fine
visits. It is neat that people from all over the
world come to this site and tell their "John and
Marie" stories. They have a special place in the
hearts of many.
