I saw John play several times in the mid & late ’70s. One of them was about when this album came out. After the show, he came back out and was putting his equipment away. I walked up and was watching him for a minute. I said, “Man you’re gettin’ really good on that fiddle.” He replied: “I practice a lot.”
To the cool person who this might concern. I’ m assuming “ Headin Down Into a The Mystery Below “ extremly unavailable other than The LP. Please re-release or make me a CD. Will work for… I’m listening to it on Utube for the first time in forever and it’s still quite perfect.

My Daughter thinks we met John Hartford in Lawrence e Kansas when she was a child, but I thong we only saw him on the Glenn Camel Good time hour TV show. Any appearances in that era in Lawrence Kansas vicinity?
He played in Lawrence at Hoch Auditorium. I may still have my ticket., will have to check the date.
