Are there more unreleased tracks from these recordings? Thanks.
“Aereo-Takes” was released after John’s passing, and contains songs from the session that didn’t make the original album. Past that, we’re not aware of any other unreleased tracks. Thanks for checking in!
Maybe I missed it on here but will you be re-releasing any of the recordings on vinyl?
Hi Jerimiah, sorry for the delay in response, we’re a little backed up. We hope to have some things coming on vinyl soon; we will post on social media when it happens. Hope this helps!
Right after he released Aereo Plain he was on tour with Tut Taylor, Vassar Clements, and Norman Blake. I saw them at Northwestern State University in Nachitoches LA. I won’t ever forget it.
There is almost a wealth of unreleased material from both Aereoplain and Morning Bvgle. Some stuff has been released…most of the sessions remain unreleased however.
Both youtube and the internet wayback archive contain much of these sessions.
